Biography

Valerie A. Dearth focuses her practice in the areas of music, unscripted television, licensing and clearances, and copyright, including copyright reversion. She has worked with award winning recording artists such as Charlie Wilson, Dwele, Dave Mason, and Philip Bailey ("Earth, Wind & Fire"), and has assisted with business and legal affairs matters for the award winning show, "Live From Daryl's House" featuring Daryl Hall of "Hall & Oates". Ms. Dearth has also performed production legal services for numerous television productions, including "Miss America", "The Biggest Loser" (NBC), "Master Chef" (Fox), "The Buried Life" (MTV), "Chelsea Lately" (E!)," Mob Wives" (VH1) , "Kimora: Life In The Fab Lane" (Style), "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" (ABC), "The Mentor" (Bloomberg), "Pregnant in Heels" (Bravo), "Dance Your Ass Off" (Oxygen), " The Real L Word" (Showtime), and "The Fashion Show" (Bravo).
